Ultimaker S5

Desktop FDM 3D printer

Almost everyone knows someone with a 3D printer; the technology has become far more widespread over the past few years. One of the more well-known brands available for consumer and commercial printing alike is Ultimaker, whose flagship printers continue to change the game with every new release.

The Ultimaker S5 is the largest available Ultimaker printer, with a build volume of almost a foot cubed. These printers have their own enclosures to keep prints temperature controlled, meaning that objects are more durable and resilient. It has the same multi-material and quality capabilities as the Ultimaker 3 Extended. Makers with larger projects tend towards the S5 as their go-to printer.
