It seems like science fiction, but lasers have been used for a variety of manufacturing tasks since the 1960s. Lasers are used to cut and etch a variety of different materials, like stone, wood, plastic, and glass. Ever wondered how people get custom etched phone cases? The answer is simple: lasers.

LAS110 is an intermediate course in our laser cutting series, where students can learn in-depth techniques for laser cutting, along with how to operate the Epilog Fusion Pro, a powerful laser cutter/engraver capable of cutting woods, acrylics, and engraving tons of materials, even metal! For makers looking to solidify their laser cutting skills, this workshop isn't one you want to miss.
